Ten years ago, first blog, first selfie

This was published ten years ago, the first day if not first note, of my first blog.

I begun to write daily, in French as I lived in Paris, of what was happening, of my photo workshops I took, and my grandchildren. I did not stop, for ten years. From zero to five, to fifty five, then 250 in best days, I was stunned that not only my blog was read, followed, but some begun their day reading it.

Most important, many wrote me that it inspired them and gave courage for their own life.

And persisting, continuing, day by day for ten years, I did prove : there IS life after 70.
I proved, one can begin new things, discover and enjoy never dreamed one's even.
And now, I have also a trace, if I have the courage to read them.

Who knows a good program to inverse a blog and be able to read, from beginning to end and not from end backward?

For my Standup Comedy, I took this selfie with shaving cream.

Still walking with a crutch, but begun walking out and alone.

In June was given this boot to walk with, difficult to put on.

In May I had a cast, no more now, only the photo remains.

I met this two young girls holding also for me "Je suis Charlie" at Trafalgar Square the 10th January.

I am now 80, but I tried all my life to express myself freely - as much as it was possible.

Not always was.

I try to tell those stories in public, as many as I can, remember them.

Speak up

Il y a de la vie après 70 ans: Beaucoup des jeunes... Et moi.

Millions, exprime the right to speak up. So use it: speak up!

We do not all like how the journal made fun of all, but we all stand up against those who tried to shut up the right to draw, take pictures, speak up freely. We United yesterday, defending our liberties against all extremists.



It is important to be able to express ourselves.
